Mix and Match Your Bay Window Treatments
When one is not enough, sometimes adding extra can give your bay window an added spark of life. This idea will work well for a shallow bay window or a large one. Curtains and shades are the go-to ideas for coving windows, but with bay windows you can have both. Bay window treatments that incorporate blinds and curtains will make any room feel special.
If you have a large window bay area in your bedroom or study, then place the desk facing the main window. This will give you a more relaxed feel when you’re trying to work, and natural light is always better than artificial light. Add Roman or roller shades to each of the windows so you can block out the sun if it gets too much, but enclose this little room in curtains. This will essentially give you two rooms in one, and is best used in a study that is used by many people or in a bedroom to block off the bed from the study section.
